Enterprise Apps · SAP Pre-Audit

Know your licence position before the measurement.

A two-sided reading of the client’s contracts and system extracts, built to decide what to recognise, contest, or address.

Who it is for

CFOs, CIOs, procurement leaders, and software asset owners who need to know the position before responding, provisioning, or negotiating.

The entry point

A proactive installed-base review; before a true-up, renewal, or negotiation; or after a measurement notice, within the advisory scope still available.

The decision this work supports

Which licence positions to recognise, contest, or address, and which levers to use now, at the next window, or knowingly leave unused.

Outputs for that decision

A two-sided licence position: exposure and unclaimed value.

A quantified interval and confidence level when the documents and extracts support the calculation.

An exposure-and-value register covering direction, recurrence, ownership, and contestability.

A lever plan separated by timing and owner.

How the engagement works

The fixed-price entry phase covers the contractual baseline and adverse checks. The clock starts when the minimum input package arrives. Continuation is scoped from what the entry phase finds.

Independence

Whoever executes the measurement comes to know the use.

Under the SAP PartnerEdge General Terms and Conditions published for Latin America, a partner holding a PartnerEdge agreement that becomes aware of unauthorised use of SAP products by any third party, including use by one of the partner’s own customers beyond licensed levels, must inform SAP without undue delay, subject to the documents it signed with SAP. Applying that duty to a company that bought direct and only has its environment operated by a partner is a reading, which the analysis sets out. In the pre-audit, every extract runs in the client’s own environment and Alkemia reads what comes back. Alkemia holds no SAP PartnerEdge agreement and does not deliver the pre-audit through an entity that holds one.
